Oren Ziv is Assistant Professor of Economics at Michigan State University. His work focuses on empirical and theoretical aspects of urban economics, economic geography and international trade. He is particularly interested in the location decisions of firms and how geographic frictions affect market outcomes. He holds a PhD and MA from Harvard University and BA from Columbia University. He was the 2016 International Economics Fellow at Dartmouth College and a 2015 Kauffman Dissertation Fellow.
