About Me

I am an Associate Professor at Michigan State University’s Department of Economics. My research is on international economics and urban and real estate economics. I focus on measuring the causes and consequences of spatial frictions on local, regional, national, and international economies. My published work has asked questions on housing, agglomeration, international shipping, and international financial networks.

Before coming to Michigan state, I was the inaugural Dartmouth International Economics Fellow. I received my PhD from Harvard University and my BA from Columbia University.
